Introduction

Sodium molybdate (MoNa2O4) is white crystallized powder, which can slightly dissolute in water, but insoluble in acetone. Its CAS number is 7631-95-0, EINECS number 231-551-7, and molecular weight 205.91714. It can be roasted from molybdenum concentrate and reduced from molybdenum trioxide. The Molybdate is widely used in metal corrosion inhibitor, catalyst, retardant, analysis reagent, etc.
