Silicomolybdic Acid

Introduction

Silicomolybdic acid n-hydrate is silicomolybdic acid of yellow crystallized powder with formula of H4(SiO4MO12O36) and CAS number of 11089-20-6. The acid can be melted at 47~55℃ and lost crystal water at 100~105℃. It is soluble in water, acid, ethanol and ether, but insoluble in CS2 and benzene. This acid is used for quantitative colorimetric analysis.
