Ammonium Tetramolybdate
Introduction
Ammonium tetramolybdate is a kind of white and light yellow crystallized powder with molecular formula of (NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O, which can slight dissolute in water. There are five types: (NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O, α-(NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O, β-(NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O, microcrystal (NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O and amorphous (NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O. It is widely used in catalyst for petroleum, additive of fire and flame retardant, dye for pigment, and raw material for molybdenum metals.
