Molybdenum Oxide Production Method - Pyrometallurgy

Introduction

The production method to produce molybdenum oxide by pyrometallurgy, also named dry smelting, is to roast molybdenite to molybdenum calcine, and then to make the oxide by sublimation or hydrometallurgy. The production technologies are rotary kiln roasting, reverberatory furnace roasting, multi-chamber furnace roasting, fluidized bed roasting and flash furnace roasting.
