Molybdenum Oxide Production Method - Hydrometallurgy

Introduction

The production method of hydrometallurgy to produce molybdenum oxide uses molybdenite concentrate as raw material, and is manufactured with processes of decomposition, leaching, purification and crystallization.

Another hydrometallurgy method is molybdenum concentrate decomposition, which includes oxidizing roasting – ammonium leaching method, lime calcination and decomposition – acid leaching method, and oxygen digesting – ammonium leaching method.
