Thorium Tungsten Electrode

Introduction

Thorium tungsten electrode is doped with thorium oxide with content of 1%, 2%, 3% and 4%, and its tip colors are yellow, red, purple and orange. The most widely used is red one with 2%ThO2. The electric discharged power is the lowest one among all the electrodes, but, it is regarded as environmental unfriendly as for ThO2 is with low radiation.
