Tungsten Bar
Introduction
Tungsten bar can be rectangle and round, and the surface is grey metal white. The bar is with purity over 99.90% and widely used for steel making and parts. When using as additive in steel making industry, the purity of 99.98% is also applicable.

Chemical Property
The chemical property of tungsten bar is stable under the normal atmosphere. It does not react with air and water, so are HCl, sulphuric acid, and nitric acid. When the temperature is heated to 80~100℃, it starts reaction with acid. It can solute in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated nitric acid, but not alkali.
Production Process
Powder Metallurgy: Tungsten powder→ Weight→Isostatic Press→Blank bar→Sinter→Inspect→Finished bar
Application
TW-1is for the material for basic material, TW-2 is used to machine parts, TW-4 is used as additive in steel making industry.
Tungsten content in steel making industry
The content of tungsten is different in alloy steel. Among them, the content is 9~24% in high speed steel, 2~2.7% in chromium tungsten silicon steel, 2~9% in chromium tungsten steel, 0.5~1.6% in chromium tungsten manganese steel, 5.2~6.2% in tungsten magnetic steel and 11.5~14.5% in tungsten cobalt magnetic steel. According to the different requirement, different weight of tungsten bar is added.
