Silicon Carbide Electronic Furnace
Introduction
Silicon carbide electric furnace is used to produce black, green and cubic silicon carbide.
The production method to produce silicon carbide is sintering quartz, petroleum coke, sawdust and salt under high temperature.
The structure of the furnace is furnace bottom, end wall with built-in electrode, a side wall and an electric heating element. After the furnace is charged to heat the furnace to 1450℃, the SiC cube is made, and Co is released. When the temperature is higher to 2600, silicon carbide cube is decomposed and re-synthesized. Silicon carbide is finally manufactured after 24hrs heating and cooling.
