In 1905, silicon carbide was found from meteorite.

In 1907, the first silicon carbide crystal lighting emitting diode was produced.

In 1955, LELY proposed the idea of growing high-quality carbonization and SiC has been the important material in electric industry.

In 1958, the first silicon carbide meeting was held in Boston.

In 1978, the technology of LELY Improved Technology was used to refine the grain size.

Since 1987, the production line of silicon carbide based on the research ofCREEis established, and SiC is commercialized.
