Thermal sprayed tungsten carbide powder has good wear resistance and is used to resist abrasive particles, hard surfaces, fretting and particle erosion. The coating is more tough and delicate than KF-17. Application examples: threaded guide rods, screw feeders, aircraft engines, wear parts of pumps, protection of power plant fan blades, turbine blades, pump shells, cutting tools, and worn parts in wire drawing machines.
